Rains bring cheer to Delhi's residents
IMD predicts a cool Sunday for Delhi that experienced 28 mm of rains on Saturday evening.

The Indian capital was set for a cooler weekend after a moderate rainfall on Saturday that brought smiles to its residents.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted a cool Sunday for Delhi that experienced 28 mm of rains in the evening.
"The capital skies opened up in the evening and it rained for almost an hour. The city will experience cloudy sky and witness a few spells of rain and thundershowers till Monday," an IMD official said, adding that Saturday's showers would give the residents a respite from the oppressing humidity.
Exactly a month back, IMD had announced the arrival of monsoon in the city but there were not much rainfall since then.
