“The incident took place around 6.30am when the victim was sleeping. In her complaint she said that she felt someone was touching her. She immediately woke up and raised alarm,” said a senior police officer requesting anonymity. The incident took place in the two- tier compartment of the Trivandrum Rajdhani Express train.

“As she raised alarm, other passengers also woke up and caught the staff. The passengers tried to call railway police but there was no one inside the train,” the officer added.
