A 23-year-old rickshaw-puller was arrested for allegedly murdering a businessman in central Delhi’s Karol Bagh area after the deceased objected to his sleeping on his parked rickshaw in front of his shop on Sunday night, the police said.

“Arun Kumar was arrested for murdering Naresh Gupta on the intervening night of May 27-28. Gupta owns a shop on Arya Samaj Road and had objected to Arun and other labourers sleeping in front of his shop,” said Devesh Srivastava, additional CP (central), adding, “This angered Arun who then picked up a wooden stick and hit Gupta on his head.”
