The fourth edition of South Asian Bands Festival (SABF), presented in collaboration with the Indian Council of Cultural Relations and the Ministry of Cultural Affairs is being presented by the city based events management group Seher.

The three-day festival will have performances by fifteen bands from across all South Asian nations.

Apart from Band Bangla (Bangladesh) and East India Company (Assam) who have performed in the first edition of the festival, all the other participating rock bands are making their debut with the festival.

Mrigya (Delhi), Mawj (Afghanistan), 4th Element (Shillong), Mekaal Hasan Band (Pakistan), Ankur and The Ghalat Family (Mumbai), Traphic Jam (Maldives), Funeral in Heaven (Sri Lanka), Indus Creed (Mumbai), Tashi Tagay Cultural Group (Bhutan), Metal Zone Oasis Band (Myanmar), Nepathaya (Nepal), Thermal and A Quarter (Bangalore), Kailasa (Mumbai) are those participating in the festival.

"This festival therefore has become a major melting pot for talent in the South Asian neighborhood," he adds.

Sanjeev Bhargava, festival director says, "The festival is growing in popularity every year and it is great to see people from 16 to 70 years of age, young people bringing their grand parents on wheel chairs to students of schools and colleges coming in large groups."
