Bike-borne assailants snatched Rs 7.5 lakh from two Rohini residents within a gap of 20 minutes on Saturday.

"The first incident was reported from sector 7 at 3:30 p.m.," said a senior police officer, requesting anonymity.

According to the police, R.K. Gupta was on his way home after withdrawing Rs 4 lakh from the Punjab National bank located in sector 7 when two men on a red Pulsar waylaid him.

In the second incident, a bag containing Rs 3.5 lakh was snatched.

"Kapil Kumar was passing by the Avantika area after withdrawing Rs 3.5 lakh from the HDFC bank in sector 3 when bike-borne assailants snatched his bag at 3:50 pm. A case has been registered," the officer said.
