Salesman held for faking to be aiims doc

Supriyo Mukherjee, a salesman, who claimed to be an All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) gynaecologist has finally been arrested by the Delhi Police. Mukherjee was arrested on Friday after the high court refused to entertain his bail plea.

Mukherjee had landed Indraneel Sadhukhan, 21, in the Intensive Care Unit of Sir Gangaram Hospital in November 2009. HT had first reported the story on January 11, when Sadhukhan’s mother filed an FIR in the west Delhi police station.
