Schools to remain closed till Jan 13
With a cold wave sweeping the national capital, the Delhi government on Saturday ordered that all public and government schools in the city will remain closed till Jan 13.

With a cold wave sweeping the national capital, the Delhi government on Saturday ordered that all public and government schools in the city will remain closed till Jan 13.
"Due to extreme cold, all public, Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) and New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) schools in the city will be closed till Jan 13," the education department said in a statement.
The city government Wednesday had announced the closure of schools till Jan 10.
The cold wave has been sweeping north India since the past one week with the mercury remaining below the average in the city.
