The public will have access from next month to three new ‘tourist circuits’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan: The main building, two museum complexes and the gardens, which they can see singly or in combination.

The President’s Secretary, Omita Paul, on Thursday held a meeting with 24 tour operators in order to publicise the three tourist circuits which will be inaugurated on July 25, an official statement said on Thursday.
Visitors to Rashtrapati Bhavan now have the convenience of booking and paying for their visits online, it said.
Paul said the Rashtrapati Bhavan was looking forward to become a major tourist destination and sought their help in attracting visitors from India and abroad.
She said President Pranab Mukherjee, since the start of his presidency in July 2012, has made efforts to demystify every aspect of the Rashtrapati Bhavan and bring it closer to the general public.
