South Corp launches incentive for staff

To improve property tax collection, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has initiated an incentive scheme for its staff, in which officials will be given one month’s salary as bonus if they meet the targets.

To improve property tax collection, the South Delhi Municipal Corporation has initiated an incentive scheme for its staff, in which officials will be given one month’s salary as bonus if they meet the targets.

This year the target is to collect Rs. 581 crore, as against last year’s Rs. 426 crore.

“The targets have been distributed amongst the four zones under the jurisdiction of the South Corporation. If we are able to achieve our target, the officials will be rewarded. This is the first time that the Corporation has launched such an initiative,” said BN Singh, assessor and collector, South Corporation.
