Harishchandra Singh, father of Samajwadi Party General Secretary Amar Singh, on Monday died in a hospital in Noida.
He was 82.
He is survived by his wife, two sons and a daughter, family sources said.

The cremation will take place at Noida on Monday evening, they added.
