Delhiites witnessed a sunny day on Saturday after record breaking rains the day before.

The maximum temperature was recorded as 18.9 degrees Celsius, a degree below normal but up from Friday’s 16.4 degrees.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 7.3 degrees, normal for this time of the year and down from Friday’s 11.3 degrees. Cold winds that kept blowing throughout the day troubled many.
“Though the sun was out all day, it was quite cold in the shade because of cold winds. It is, however, a big improvement from Friday’s hailstorm,” said Anuradha Puri, a resident of Lajpat Nagar IV.
According to the weatherman, the weather is going to be similar on Sunday with the temperature expected to be between 17 degrees and 6 degrees. Shallow fog is expected in the morning.
