The Delhi Police on Wednesday filed a supplementary chargesheet in connection with the suicide case of airhostess Geetika Sharma before a city court.

The police said investigation revealed that former Haryana minister Gopal Kanda tried to hire Geetika Sharma from Emirates Airlines with the ulterior motive of sexually exploiting her.
In the supplementary chargesheet submitted against Chanshivroop Singh, an aide of Kanda, before the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate D K Jangala, police said: "The facts emerged against Chanshivroop during further investigation. Kanda and his aide Chadha tried to get back Geetika from Emirates Airlines with the ulterior motive of sexually exploiting her.”
The chargesheet said: "When Geetika refused to come back and join MDLR Airlines (floated by Kanda), he used other tactics to mount pressure on her. Geetika Sharma, a former airhostess with Kanda's MDLR airlines, committed suicide at her residence in 2012.
