Suspecting infidelity, Delhi man kills wife

A 35-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband in front of their children after the couple fought over her suspected infidelity, police said.

A 35-year-old woman was stabbed to death by her husband in front of their children on Thursday after the couple fought over her suspected infidelity, police said.

The victim Usha's husband Raj Kumar stabbed her several times in the servant quarters of Jodhpur House, police said. He is absconding.

"Kumar stabbed her in front of her three children and sister-in-law suspecting his wife of having an extramarital affair. She died on the spot," a police officer said.

Kumar, who used to work as a 'safai karmachari' or sweeper, is absconding and police are trying to trace him, the officer added.
