Education: He is a graduate from DAV College, Delhi.

Political Career: Marwah was active in politics since his college days when he became the students’ union president of DAV college. He joined Congress in 1976. Joined Congress in 1976 and held several organisational posts in Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee Won the Assembly elections twice in 1998 and 2003.

Family: Wife Surinder Pal Kaur runs her own property business. They have two daughters, both of whom are in college while his son studies in Modern School, Barakhamba. Marwah likes watching news and, occasionally when he gets time, catches up with movies. “My favourite actor is Amitabh Bachchan and I love watching his movies, as and when I get time,” he said.

Cars: Marwah owns a Skoda Octavia.
