The Delhi Police have arrested three persons for the murder of a 28-year-old taxi driver whose body was found near a metro pillar in Uttam Nagar on December 23. Police said the accused had a relationship with victim’s wife, which led to murder.

"The accused have been identified as Lekh Ram, Harish Kumar and Rahul. After killing victim — Vishnu Datt — in his car, they dumped the body near the metro pillar in Uttam Nagar," A K Ojha, DCP (southwest) said.
The police said Ram and Dutt, who was a cab driver, had good relations and both used to drink together at the latter's house. During this time, Ram allegedly developed illicit relations with Dutt's wife.
"Dutt became suspicious and warned Lekh Ram to mend his ways. Lekh Ram, on the other hand, suspected Dutt mixed some 'impotency drug' in liquor," a senior officer said.
"The trio confessed their crime and said they had liquor together after which they killed Dutt. They then dumped the body and his car at different places," the officer added.
