Three killed in mishap in New Delhi

Three people have been killed and eight others injured when a tempo they were travelling met with an accident in New Delhi.

Three people were killed and eight others injured when a tempo they were travelling in turned turtle in west Delhi ON Sunday morning.

The tempo loaded with vegetables turned turtle near Motinagar flyover in Punjabi Bagh killing Hussain (27) on the spot and injuring 10 others, police said.

The injured were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi hospital where Babu (35) and Ajay (25) succumbed to injuries, police said.

The condition of two among the injured was stated to be critical, police said.

A case has been registered against the driver, who is among the injured.
