Two motorcycle-borne snatchers robbed a businessman and his son of Rs. 70, 000 in West Delhi on Sunday.

Though the victims managed to nab one robber, they could not stop his accomplice from fleeing with the money.
The incident took place in West Delhi's busy Uttam Nagar.
Dalip Mohanty, a resident of Sahibabad—one of Delhi's eastern suburbs—and a paan shop owner in Naya Bagh area in Old Delhi had gone with his son to meet an associate.
"Mohanty and his son were on a motorcycle," said a police officer not authorised to speak to media.
According to the officer, Mohanty was holding a bag containing Rs 70,000. At Ranhola road near Shyam Sweets two assailants on a motorcycle came and intercepted them.
“They snatched the bag from Mohanty's hand but when they tried to flee, the father raised an alarm and ran behind them.”
Police said in their attempt to flee the assailants lost control over the motorcycle and the pillion rider fell off.
