Training session for private labs

The Union Health Ministry invited six laboratories — Religare SRL, Dr Lal PathLabs, Quest Diagnostics, Auro Probe, Piramal Diagnostics and Era Health —for a four-hour training and orientation session on Friday.

The Union Health Ministry invited six laboratories — Religare SRL, Dr Lal PathLabs, Quest Diagnostics, Auro Probe, Piramal Diagnostics and Era Health —for a four-hour training and orientation session on Friday.

Two laboratories, which were earlier assessed by the NCDC officials, were not invited for the training. “We did not got any intimation from the government,” said a spokesperson from Apollo. Dr Navin Dang of Dr Dang’s laboratory too said they have not heard from the ministry since the inspection on Wednesday.
