Tytler has challenged the trial court’s order setting aside the CBI’s closure report that gave him a clean chit.

The appeal is likely to be listed for hearing on Friday.

“The trial court’s order is contrary to the scheme of code of CrPC,” he said in the petition.

Senior advocate H S Phoolka, appearing for petitioner Lakhwinder Kaur, had submitted that there was material which the agency has ignored and evidence was also there before the trial court against Tytler.
