Aarti’s father Durga Prasad, a driver, told HT he was disheartened by the court’s decision and alleged that the “the CBI had duped Prasad into giving a statement that let Pandher off”.

“Without his consent, the killings could not have happened in his house. We will submit a review application because our statements were not fully recorded,” Prasad said.
The victim families, including Prasad and Jhabbu Lal, said they had submitted a review petition under section 220(4) of the Criminal Procedure Code that the case not be heard in isolation, but be clubbed with the other Nithari cases.
“A CD was prepared by Noida Police during the recovery of the bodies.
The recovery was also made at the instance of Pandher but the CD was never put on record. The employer is as guilty as his servant,” Lal said.
