"The video clips in our possession depict incidents of rioting in Kokrajhar district. Filmed by a few witnesses, these clips record the violent incidents that took place at a student hostel in Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar," said a CBI source. The source said, "We are assessing this piece of vital electronic evidence to identify the perpetrators."

The agency is likely to grill a few suspects soon on the basis of the video clips, said the source. The clips also give a peek into the types of weapons used in the attacks; the clips were recovered from a set of persons, including witnesses and media persons.

The agency, meanwhile, has requested the public to come for ward to it with more evidence and information that could lead to nabbing the perpetrators.
