Delhiites are expected to have a rainy Valentine’s Day on Monday as the Met officials have forecast light showers in some parts of the city.

“We are expecting a partly cloudy sky with the possibility of a thunderstorm in some areas. There may be squalls in some places too,” said the weatherman. The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 25 and 13 degree Celsius respectively. The weather on Tuesday is also expected to be similar.
“The western disturbance over the Himalayas that brought snowfall to Himachal Pradesh will affect the weather on Monday,” the weatherman said.
Sunday’s bright sun made the mercury rise to 28.8 degrees, six degrees above normal. The minimum, at 13.6 degrees, was four degrees above normal.
People come out in droves to enjoy the weather.
“This is the only time of the year when the weather is pleasant enough to roam around comfortably. Summers, it seems, are not far away,” said Mahesh Poddar, a resident of Mayur Vihar, Phase II.
