They were apprehended from Chandi Chowk market area, where they had come to sell two bridal lehengas, worth Rs 4 lakh, which they had stolen from the boutique of a fashion designer in Karol Bagh.
Devesh Chandra Srivastava, ACP (central), said that the arrests came following investigation into a complaint lodged on January 6 by Shruti Dudani. “She had told us that five persons, including three women, came to her shop and after bargaining for about half an hour, they left. A few minutes later, she noticed that two bridal lehengas and four ladies suits were missing,” said Srivastava.
