Highlights: CBSE Class 10th, 12th board exam date sheet 2021 released

Class 10 students will appear for the examination in 75 subjects while class 12 students will be appearing for 111 subjects.

CBSE class 10 board exams 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from May 4 to June 7, 2021. The examination will be held in one shift only, i.e from 10.30am to 01.30pm.

CBSE class 12 board exams 2021 will begin on Tuesday, May 4, 2021. The first examination is English and the final paper is scheduled to be held on Friday, June 11, 2021. The examinations will be conducted in two shifts. The first Shift will be held from 10.30am to 01.30pm while the Second Shift will be conducted from 02.30 to 05.30pm.

CBSE Board will release the board exam date sheet 2021 on its official website. After 5pm, students of Class 10 and 12 will be able to check and download the CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2021 at cbse.gov.in.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will release the schedule for the class 10, 12 board examinations in twenty minutes on its official website at cbse.gov.in.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' has tweeted that the CBSE board exam datasheet 2021 for class 10 and 12 students will be released at 5pm today.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' had earlier on December 31 announced that the CBSE will declare the results of the board exams 2021 by July 15, 2021.

The CBSE will be conducting the Board exams 2021 with 33% internal choice-questions. The questions will be based on the new reduced syllabus.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the schedule for the class 10, 12 board examinations soon on its official website at cbse.gov.in.

Students of class 10 and 12 will have over 3 months to prepare for the CBSE Board Exams 2021.

CBSE had previously announced that the board examinations in 2021 will be held in pen and paper mode.

The Press Information Bureau (PIB) had previously informed that a fake date sheet of CBSE board exams 2021 for class 10th and 12th was circulating on various social media platforms. Students are advised to visit the official website of the board for any information regarding the date sheet.

The CBSE will conduct the practical exams from March 1, 2021, onwards.

At Secondary Level, a Skill subject may be offered as additional sixth subject along with the existing five compulsory subjects. As per existing CBSE policy, if any student fails in any one of the three elective subjects (i.e. Science, Mathematics and Social Science), then it will be replaced by the Skill subject (offered as a 6th subject) and result of Class 10th will be computed based on best five subjects. However, if a candidate desires to reappear in the failed

subject, he/she may appear along with the compartment examination.

The CBSE date sheet is expected to carry other important information except for the examination dates, such as instructions for social distancing amid the ongoing covid-19 pandemic.

CBSE Board exam will begin from May 4 and conclude on June 10. Results will be declared by July 15. Practical exams will begin from March 1.
