The 45-year-old actor was performing as a part of his My Violent Torpedo Of Truth/Death Is Not An Option tour when he left the stage 30 minutes early on Friday night after audience members heckled him throughout, reported TMZ.

During the show at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall, Sheen received boos from the audience after declaring he had quit drugs.

The actor went on to fuel his public war of words with Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre by daring the TV boss to join him onstage at the venue on Sunday. He said, "(Let's) work this stuff out. Of course I want my job back man!"

Sheen also poked fun at his Wall Street director Oliver Stone, joking, "I'll buy an Academy Award from Oliver Stone 'cause he's now broke. His movies now suck! Anyone seen Wall Street 2?"

The actor's jokes fell flat, he was scheduled for a 75 minute slot, but left the stage after just 45 minutes due to heckling from the theatregoers.
