“Britney is teetering on the brink again. She had it in her head that she could still win Justin back and even began confiding to friends that she knew he was only threatening to marry Jessica to get her attention... It was the ravings of a mad woman. She flew into a rage and started screaming, throwing anything she could grab. Then she crumpled onto the floor in a heap of tears,” a source said. Spears and Timberlake fell in love as teenagers on a TV show for Disney, but split in 2002 amid reports that she cheated on him. Spears is currently engaged to her former agent, Jason Trawick.
