Here's what irked Randeep Hooda
After waiting for almost two hours to get his award at a function, Randeep Hooda, got irritated with the delay and left without receiving one.
Thursday (December 18) was expected to be a happy evening for Randeep Hooda, since the actor was supposed to receive an award at a function. But instead, things took a not-so-pleasant-turn because of some unforeseen events, leaving him irked.
A source close to Randeep reveals that he had informed the show’s organisers when he was invited that he wouldn’t be able to stay at the venue on the day of the function for very long. The organisers had assured the actor that he would be given his award early, and would then be free to leave.
But things didn’t go according to plan. "Randeep was asked to reach the awards function at 7.30 pm, so that he could receive the award and leave by 8.30 pm. He reached the venue on time, but till 8.30 pm there was no award announcement. In fact, he waited till 9 pm, before getting irked and leaving. Eventually, someone else had to collect the award on his behalf," says the source.
When contacted, Randeep admitted to such an incident having occurred at the ceremony, saying, "I got bored, so I left. I don’t know what happened later, but I couldn’t sit through it any longer. I’ve got the award now."
