When it comes to love and relationships, actor Priyanka Chopra calls herself ‘old school’. "I am a little old fashioned when it comes to love. As much as I am an independent girl, I believe that in a relationship, a man and woman are never equal. I feel that they are different in their own beautiful ways. I think relationships should be like that," says Priyanka.

However, the 32-year-old has clear parameters when it comes to choosing a man for herself. "I need to look up to the guy who I am with. I don’t think I can be with someone who I don’t admire," she says.

One such inspiration in her life has been the relationship between her parents. "That’s the relationship which my parents shared. My mother is an extremely strong and independent woman, but my dad always watched out for her and was always around her. I think ideal relationships should be like that," says Priyanka.

She, however, fiercely guards her personal life and says that she will reveal details about it only when something is finalised. "I have always said this. I am not someone who likes talking about my relationships and my private life because I feel that it is extremely personal. This doesn’t mean I don’t have a relationship going. I just like to be personal about it. I am sure there will be a day, when I would be ready to scream it from the roof top. But it’s not that day yet," she says.

Meanwhile, the actor is busy gearing up for her younger brother, 25-year-old Siddharth’s wedding, which will take place this February. "I intend to be the proud sister who ensures that the baraat is extremely delayed. It will be a proper Punjabi wedding. We are boisterous and loud and super fun," she says.
