Bollywood actor Jacqueline Fernandez reacts to Salman Khan calling her his lady love JFK — Jacqueline Fernandez Khan — on a TV show recently.
Her latest co-star, actor Salman Khan, has been showering praise on her publicly, and has even referred to her as JFK —
, on a reality show recently. But the 28-year-old actress only blushes when asked if there is something brewing between the two.
“Well, what can I say,” says Jacqueline. “It was as much of a surprise for me as it was for everyone else; your guess is as good as mine. Initially, I thought he was referring to John F Kennedy when he said he has found his lady love, who’s called JFK,” she says, adding, “Salman is a fantastic person — focused and positive. He’s my role model.”
Talking about working with the Bollywood star in their latest blockbuster, she says, “It’s a great feeling to be part of a hit film. I had only seen others enjoy such stardom. Now I know what it feels like, and I need to work harder.”
Not one to accept that Bollywood isn’t welcoming towards outsiders, the Sri Lankan beauty says, “If you work hard, you will find your space. The ‘outsiders’ may need to prove themselves a lot more, but if you have talent, you will always get work. Even those (considered industry insiders) may not be able to survive without talent and hard work.”
