I prefer to read reviews before going to watch the movie but this time, I will make an exception because it’s Tarantino.

He’s an excellent narrator. He treats every film, whether it’s Pulp Fiction or any other, so well. That’s some inspiration for all the filmmakers.

I don’t want to answer that please. (Gupta made Kaante, a remake of Tarantino’s first big movie, Reservoir Dogs, so that answers the question).

The fact that he is daring, makes Tarantino come close to being a legend. He makes movies on any subject that he’s convinced about and will not think twice after he’s made up his mind.

I think it’s difficult to pick one. I think it would be good with all his films.
On Inglourious Basterds
I usually read reviews after I watch a film, just to see how much the reviewer’s opinion matches mine. I will see Inglourious Basterds on Friday for sure because I’ve already seen it once and loved the film. I love the characters especially the villain and it’s got a great climax. The best Quentin Tarantino films have tremendous repeat value. So, I will watch Inglourious Basterds at least thrice as this is one of his best.
On his Tarantino inspiration
Tarantino’s films inspire me in a sense that I get renewed vigour when I am dealing with my own script. I love the way he combines drama and realism with camp and retro. I love the way he lets a scene breathe and then suddenly does something totally unexpected.
On the director being a legend
I would rather not proclaim him a legend. That usually spells doom for any filmmaker.
