Singer Katy Perry and her comedian husband Russell Brand have been off the grid ever since their wedding in India three weeks ago.

The newlyweds resurfaced making their first public appearance as a married couple at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Spain, reports dailymail.co.uk.

Perry was dressed in a mini red sequin dress and was wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger. It was the same as Brand's ring.

Their wedding came after the two met at the MTV Video Music Awards in New York in 2009, where Brand was the host.
