Lupita Nyong'o is People magazine's 'Most Beautiful'

Nyong'o has had a stellar rise over the past 12 months, following her breakout performace in director Steve McQueen's Oscar-winning film "12 Years A Slave," her debut film role, for which she picked up this year's Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Kenyan-Mexican actor Lupita Nyong'o has been named as 2014's 'Most Beautiful' by People magazine.

Now she's got another prize to be proud of, with People Magazine naming her at the top of its annual Most Beautiful list for 2014. The 31-year-old actress, who was born in Mexico City and raised in Kenya, joins a list of previous winners which includes Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kate Hudson and Beyoncé. Nyong'o was also recently unveiled as the latest face of French cosmetics brand Lancôme.
