The 54-year-old said she inherited her love for building and designing from her contractor father, and is the happiest when she is working with her power tools, reported Femalefirst. “I love building things. I redesigned and built the entire facade of a fireplace,” she said.

The actor added, “I built a deck and playhouse for the kids out of old shutters. I’ve built things of all sorts. I get power tools for Christmas and birthdays. My dad had a workshop in our garage. He’d be working and would give me a piece of wood and a hammer and I would just make stuff.”
