Sallu, Katrina to sizzle on 35mm
Vikram Phadnis has signed Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for the principal roles for his next film.
The latest trend in Bollywood is that of costume designers turning film directors! The latest to do so is Vikram Phadnis, who has been associated with Salman Khan for some years now. Besides designing outfits for Salman, he has also handled the styling of films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Kyun! Ho Gaya Na… Reportedly, his directorial debut will be a love story, starring one hero and two heroines. And the buzz is that Vikram has signed Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif for the principal roles.
“The news is partly true,” reveals Vikram, “it will be a one hero-two heroine fare for sure, but I haven’t spoken to either of them. In fact, I am still in the process of writing my film, so the question of casting just doesn’t arise at this juncture.”
What Vikram has decided for sure is that the film will roll in March next year and will be shot in a start-to-finish schedule. Portions of the film will be canned in Delhi and Jaipur, while two important schedules will be held in Australia and Spain.
