Salman to root for Indian Railways?

Salman is known to have used a train as either metaphor, motif or simply as prop in scenes from many of his films - Tere Naam, Wanted, Dabangg being some examples. Now, the actor might campaign for Indian Railways.

Salman Khan likes to ride trains. That is, if the sequences from many of his movies are anything to go by.

In most films, Salman can be seen running, romancing or beating the pulp out of baddies against the backdrop of our very own Indian Railways.

If reports are to be believed, the Indian Railways, presumably impressed by Salman's love for the rail gaadi, have asked him to become their brand ambassador.

"The Indian Railways is used as a mode of transport by a very large number of population. And, as a star, Salman has a huge appeal among the masses. So it's a perfect brand fit," a Salman source revealed to Mid Day.

"His movies like Tere Naam, Wanted, Dabangg - all have important scenes in trains or railway platforms," the source added.

But the actor's business representative was very evasive about the deal. When contacted she told the tabloid: "It's too premature to talk anything about it right now."

Let's wait for this ticket to get confirmed then?
