This fashion show with a charitable twist saw dramatic turns on the runway. Organised by the Earth Foundation Chairman Man Mohan Bhagat and the Ambassador of France Jerome Bonnafont, and supported by Sunil Sethi’s Design Alliance, the ‘Ray of Hope’ fashion show and dinner was to raise funds for the NGO Girl Child Campaign.
The night saw a slew of ambassadors and their wives on the runway in clothes designed by various Indian fashion stalwarts. Spotted at the do were designers Poonam Bhagat, JJ Valaya, Vijay Arora, the American Ambassador Timothy Roemer, ambassador of Kazakhstan Doulat Kuanyshev, High Commissioner of Trinidad and Tobago Chandradath Singh among others. The guests grooved to the funky tunes by the live band.
