Pop star Britney Spears is all set to don a desi designer for the video of her new hit single Hold it Against Me.

Pop star Britney Spears is all set to don a desi designer for the video of her new hit single Hold it Against Me. Mumbai-based designers Shane and Falguni Peacock have designed a couple of outfits for Spears that she will wear for the video to be shot in Los Angeles in February.

“Britney’s manager got in touch with us and we exchanged style and fashion notes with her over the mail. We sent across a few sketches to Britney and she chose the ones that she liked best,” says Falguni.

On the singer’s style sensibility, the designer says, “Britney wanted to experiment with her style. She will be seen wearing a long train dress with black, pink and red detailing,” says Falguni.

The designers are meeting Spears next week in LA for the fittings. On what attracts the Hollywood A-listers to their designs, Falguni says, “May be it is the rock-chic factor.”
