6.30 am
I had breakfast and geared up for an action-packed day.

10 am
I reached backstage, and started with the models' make-up. Earlier there used to be a few problems with models, as they were uncomfortable with the make-up or their hair being put up too tightly, but now they don't complain.

12.30 pm
Did a final touch-up for the rehearsal. The half-hour before the show is a crucial and a stressful time. The people sitting in the front row are just inches away from the models, and with the lighting, everything is magnified. We have to ensure there are no make-up stains and no marks on the model's face and body.

1 pm
First show, by Payal Kapoor, Mayank Anand and Shraddha Nigam, which went well.

2 pm
Had a short lunch, and simultaneously met with designer Deepika Govind to discuss her next show.

4.30 pm
Took two hours to paint the foreheads of models for Deepika's show.

6 pm
Met with choreographer Lubna Adams to discuss the grand finale.

7 pm
Headed backstage to start with the make-up of the models and showstopper Preeti Desai for Anita Dongre's show.

9 pm
Final touch-up on all models pre-show.

10. 30 pm
Finished the show, packed my stuff and left for home!
