The Duchess of Cambridge has spiraled sales of Wellington boots after wearing a pair at a charity camping day.

The Duchess of Cambridge has spiraled sales of Wellington boots after wearing a pair at a charity camping day.

She sported a green pair of Le Chameau boots at an Expanding Horizons primary school scheme in Wrotham, Kent, last month.

The Duchess Effect has also boosted sales of Burberry trench coats and Issa dresses after Kate was seen in them.

The scheme was coordinated by ARK Schools, a charity backed by Prince William and Prince Harry’s charitable foundation.

Giles Palmer, managing director of Wellie-web.co.uk, said sales had soared by 32 per cent.

“We’ve been inundated with enquiries,” the Daily Express quoted him as saying.

“They’re very good boots and she must certainly know her wellies. If Kate wears a product, everyone wants to get hold of it,” he added.
