Dressed as his character in The Great Gatsby, the 37-year-old actor appeared on the reconstructed version of a rundown 1920s Long Island town in Sydney’s inner west on Wednesday.
A supermodel in her own right and a co-star of Miranda Kerr’s on the lingerie runway, the 22-year-old has been spotted around town with modeliser DiCaprio for over a week now.
A Confidential source saw the pair having a romantic dinner together on Sunday night at one of the Inception star’s favourite haunts, Barrio Chino.
“There were times when they weren’t really talking to each other but then they would get chatty again and laugh and stuff,” the Daily Telegraph quoted the source as saying.
“If they’re not together I would say they are very close,” the source added.
DiCaprio, who split with Blake Lively in October, is expected to leave Australia by the week’s end.
