1) Velvet:
We saw velvet make a royal comeback on the runway this season. Besides jackets and dresses, velvet detailing like piping, collars and stoles was innovative.

2) Quilted Garments:
Quilting will be big, whether on waist belts, collars, long coats or mid-length jackets. Designers presented unique designs like diamond patterns with quilting or long cutwork jackets with quilting.

3) Churi Pants:
In brocade silk, lurex or jerseys, churi pants will be big next winters. Get a pair that suits your built and then experiment with the fabrics.

4) Colourful/printed leggings:
Be it coloured or printed, find a pair that suits your ensemble. Hot colours include cotton-candy hues in pink, blue and green.

5) Little grey dress:
This winter, it will be risky to get caught in a LBD or the little black dress. The crime is not the length, but the hue. Grey will dominate and a little grey dress is what you should sport. Experiment with
fabrics like wool, silk, and pashmina.
