Flea markets are a hit with college-goers not just for cheap deals but also for the hottest trends. Be it Paharganj, Sarojini Nagar or Janpath, all three markets offer some really cool stuff at prices that suit the pocket. The current hot-sellers include colourful shorts, hats, strappy floral tops and lots of Angry Birds merchandise — flip flops, T-shirts and even bags.
“Customers usually buy short dresses and skirts because of the hot weather,” says Jitender Kaushal, owner of JK Exports in Paharganj. Visit Sarojini Nagar to buy T-shirts in Angry Birds prints for around Rs 200, while the flip-flops are available for Rs 150 onwards. Janpath too, has loads of options to keep you going with the hot trends, be it the dhoti pants, cotton dresses, colourful shades or canvas bags.
