Style mantra: “You’re not always going to get it right, but it’s OK so long as you’re having fun and not conforming.”

Closet staples: “I’m attached to this little blue dress. My denim jacket is a closet staple because I can pair it with everything. I also carry a red dress whenever I’m travelling. Another staple would be Indo-Western wear, like tie-dye or batik palazzos.”
Colour talk: “I wear bright colours like yellow, red and blue, but also a lot of white. As I’m getting older, I’m starting to enjoy black a little more.”
Top shops: “I shop a lot from Zara, Forever 21, and H&M. I pick up accessories that are versatile but not too expensive.”
Favourite brands: “I love Hudson for denims; they make your butt look good. Marciano by Guess is elegant and sexy. I also like Gucci, Chanel, and Dior for their gowns. Chanel is for when you want to be classy; Dior, if you want to be edgy; and Gucci for fun.”
Style no-no: “There is a trend in the London theatre district where people wear super-expensive clothes which make them look dumpy. That’s a huge no-no. I like clothes that celebrate your body.”
Destination shopping: “I like exploring smaller boutiques because they often carry edgy, fun fashion. Years ago, I went to Milan and found the boutique clothing phenomenal. Los Angeles also has great Boho fashion.”
Most attached to: “I choose my shoes and then my outfit. I love my white and gold Bebe wedges. They are dying because I’ve worn them so much, and I can’t get another pair.”
Bag it: “I love Louis Vuitton. Their bags last forever and are timeless.”
