India Couture Week 2017: 14 design biggies to showcase at the fashion extravaganza
India Couture Week 2017 will kick off in Delhi on July 24 and the lineup includes ace designers like Rohit Bal, Manish Malhotra, Anamika Khanna, Anju Modi and Tarun Tahiliani.
Folks, it’s fashion week time again. Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) has announced the dates and the list of participating designers for the upcoming India Couture Week 2017. The week-long event will be held between July 24 and July 30.
“This is a momentous year for us, 10 years of Couture Week has been an incredible journey, which has been the only event in the country to offer a prestigious platform to couturiers to showcase their talent in offering irrepressible indulgence. The journey would not have been possible without the support of board members and the FDCI team. We look forward to presenting many more editions of this magical event as we take it to a new high with seven days,”,FDCI president, Sunil Sethi, shared.
DESIGNERS IN FOCUS:
Among those who will be showcasing their creations as a part of the event include designers Anamika Khanna, Anita Dongre, Anju Modi, Gaurav Gupta, Manav Gangwani, Manish Malhotra, Monisha Jaising, Rahul Mishra, Reynu Taandon,Rina Dhaka, Rohit Bal, Shyamal & Bhumika, Tarun Tahiliani and Varun Bahl. A few offsite shows and Bollywood presence is also expected.
