It doesn’t get any grander. Designer Tarun Tahiliani’s finale show at the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week (WLIFW) Wednesday night, saw two Bollywood beauties — Shilpa Shetty and Chitrangada Singh — on the runway in regal outfits.

A musical performance by Sufi singers, and models dancing to folk music towards the end of the show added to the overall opulence.
The set for the finale comprised two artificial trees, made of jute, and elaborate lighting. The set apparently cost more than R10 lakh, even though the designer does not confirm.
While fashion shows have gained notoreity for starting late, this one took off on time, at 10pm, and no guest was seen scurrying for a seat.
