This Spring/Summer, it’s all about fashion inspired by music festivals across the globe. From fringes and chunky silver jewellery to flash tattoos -- the inspiration is ample. The ongoing Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, an annual fest that brings together music and lots of fashion is all about this and more, and this year, celebs, bloggers, models and other attendees are giving off a freewheeling retro vibe. Here are some style takeaways from Instagram feeds of the fest-goers.

Of Daisy Dukes and sunny hats
Desi representation is a must! And we’re glad actor Preeti Desai and Freida Pinto are giving out some festive inspo! We love the tattered-fringe, Daisy Duke-inspired denim shorts on Preeti, while Freida’s stacked bangles and sued tan booties have got us feeling the Coachella vibe.

Get the look: Summer boots are going to take your look from spring to summer festive. Go for a wide-rimmed sun hat, stack up onmetallic accessories and you’ll be good to go!

The Bindi Brigade

It’’s all about getting that boho vibe on! And what adds that breezy spunk in a jiffy? Desi-inspired bindis lining the brows.

Here’s (clockwise from top) model Noelle Brown, model Bruna Lirio, singer Vanessa Hudgens and model Gabby Epstein giving off instagram inspo with their crystal-studded brows (Instagram)

Get the look: You just need to tap into those miniature metallic bindis to get the style going. If you are afraid they’ll fall off, use a felt tip eyeliner, including a pop-coloured one to rock the look.

Make it chunky!
Multi-tiered jewellery with fringed spikes in oxidised silvers is making a big statement at the festival. We love how Kendall Jenner paired her knitted dress with a neck dripping in gypsy-edged jewels. The space buns are adding a lot of fun to the look. Feeling the vibe?

Get the look: You don’t need to hunt for a tiered necklace to ace the style. Stacking your jewels is easy and you don’t need to worry about the colour tones. Add some gilded edge to your silvers or use DIY threaded neckties or even strips of Chantilly lace to create a fun, layered look.

Colour me floral
How can Coachella be complete without floral halos! While we agree, we’re kind of over the done-to-death
plastic-y versions, we don’t mind fashion blogger Pemika (Who goes by the name of Stellar Balcony) and her giant roses quipped with butterflies brows. And of course, actor -singer Vanessa Hudgens’s white hibiscus has us in love!

Get the look: While floral jewellery can’t go out of fashion, it’s always great to give it an update. Spruce up the headband with a bit of loose glitter or go the Vanessa way and use fresh flowers to add a ‘70s touch to tumbling curls or a ponytail set high.

Well, don’t expect the guys to not dip their toes into some Coachella style fun. From Hawaiian printed shirts and headbands to even temp tattoos - we love how festive-ready men pull of the colour clash. Here’s fashion blogger and designer Mariano Di Vaio giving off a big bout of inspiration. Dare to pull this look off, guys?

Get the look: Don’t be afraid of prints! We are loving the robe-style shirt worn over the easy-fit ganji here. The trick is to balance it out. Don’t clutter your look. Shout out here for the bracelets..if you are not into jewellery use a pastel or pop-hued shoe lace to create a tie-up wrist band.
