PFW Day 2: Namrata Joshipura showcases Concrete Garden collection

Not meant for the fashion novice, this collection reinvents sporty luxe in the most sexy, flamboyant avatar.
All free thinking fashionistas would agree that what’s safe is also most often, tortuously boring. Life’s too brief to party in those ‘done to death’ sheaths and dreary LBDs.
On Day 2 of HT City Print Fashion Week, we bring you inspiration that’s not meant for the fashion novice. Inspired by the vivacity of New York, fashion designer Namrata Joshipura’s collection Concrete Garden re-imagines sporty luxe in a sexy, flamboyant avatar. Perfect for the self-inspired woman, the range features lively, fun garments such as jumpsuits, sheer maxis with jackets and thigh-high slit dresses. Interspersed with playful cuts, cheerful florals and sequin, it’s a great pick for a fairytale honeymoon or a wedding cocktail party.

A pristine white thigh-high slit dress with dramatic slit sleeves is what you wear when you want to declare fashion mutiny. Paired with a no-fuss top knot and barely-there makeup, this is how a fashionista does effortless glam.
