Veteran fashion designer Ritu Kumar, who has been named for the Padma Shri award this year, showcased a collection with five themes, showing rich Indian culture and heritage, at the grand finale of Bangalore Fashion Week (BFW).

Ritu Kumar's opening sequence was Art Deco and the designs were an amalgamation of bold forms with delicate embroideries. For this, she has used fabrics such as silks, chiffon, crepe and twill.

Another collection with boast baroque element recreated with a vintage line inspired by Bollywood hits 1960s and 1970s.

She will also present couture collection.
