Standing seven feet tall, a giant stiletto for an art installation is grabbing eyeballs at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW).
It has been set up by Trèsmode, the event’s official footwear partner. The shoe has been handcrafted by Paul B, who used 60 kilos of fragile aluminium wire mesh to complete it in 10 days. “It resembles a cocoon, out of which a beautiful butterfly will fly,” he says.
