Seattle’s Museum of Flight opens a fashion show, which will look at some of the iconic flight attendant uniforms of the past eight decades. Style in the Aisle, which opened recently, spans the nurse togs worn by 1930s flight crews to the flamboyant creations donned by the attendants of the 1960s and 70s. The collection represents the uniforms of 12 separate airlines — including some which stopped flying years ago, such as TWA.
